Max Klein

I'm a portrait photographer based in Buenos Aires.

I was born here, but I didn't stay still. I lived in Munich, Caracas, Berlin, New York City and Hamburg.
Every city left something. Every move taught me to read people faster.

I studied film before photography, and that never left me. I think in light, in frame, in atmosphere. My portraits feel cinematic because that's how I see. Not as moments, but as scenes.

I trained at the International Center of Photography in New York. I worked for years between Hamburg and Berlin, photographing actors, musicians, record labels and ad campaigns.

I work from my studio in Buenos Aires, with a second base in Hamburg.
